Coming off a third-straight loss, the Golden State Warriors are continuing their road trip on Monday, March 23, with a game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Lately, the Warriors have had a lot to worry about on the injury front. Kristaps Porzingis has been in and out of the lineup as he’s dealt with three ailments since landing on the Warriors back in February.
Recently, Porzingis suffered a lower-back injury. On top of that, he’s been dealing with a mysterious illness, which has forced a handful of absences. The veteran is a frequent presence on the injury report.

The Warriors kept Porzingis on the injury report for their Monday matchup against the Mavs in Dallas, Texas, but he seems to be on pace to play.
According to the official injury report, Porzingis is probable to play against the Mavs/
As long as he doesn’t experience any further setbacks, Porzingis will compete in his eighth game with the Warriors.

Porzingis joined the Warriors ahead of the 2026 trade deadline. He was already dealing with a multi-week absence with the Atlanta Hawks.
The Warriors held out the veteran center until after the All-Star break. Porzingis debuted for 17 minutes on February 19, against the Boston Celtics.

Due to an illness, Porzingis missed the following six games. He returned to the court on March 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder for 22 minutes, but missed two out of the following four matchups.
In the Warriors’ March 20 game against the Detroit Pistons, Porzingis played in his third-straight game for the first time since joining the Warriors. His night ended after 11 minutes. He was experiencing lower-back pain, which resulted in his absence on March 21 against the Atlanta Hawks.
Since joining the Warriors, Porzingis has averaged 20.3 minutes per game.
The veteran center has been shooting 41.8% from the field and 28.6% from three to average 14.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
Overall, this season, Porzingis produced 16.5 points per game, along with 4.8 rebounds per game. He played in 17 games with the Hawks.
The Warriors are set for a 9:30 PM ET tip on Monday, March 23.
