The Denver Nuggets are expected to welcome back forward Peyton Watson on Sunday, though his return will come with restrictions after a lengthy absence.
Nuggets coach David Adelman said Watson will be on a minutes limit in his first game back as Denver hosts the Portland Trail Blazers.
“Peyton Watson will be on a minutes restriction as he returns this afternoon, David Adelman says,” Bennett Durando of The Denver Post reported on X.
Watson has missed the last 19 games, and while he was officially listed as questionable entering Sunday’s matchup, multiple reports indicated he was trending toward a return. His availability provides a timely boost for a Denver team navigating a tight Western Conference playoff race.

The Nuggets entered Sunday with a 43-28 record, holding the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference while sitting just three games behind the third-place Los Angeles Lakers.
