Final Injury Report for Timberwolves-Celtics: Will Jaylen Brown, Anthony Edwards Play?

The Boston Celtics are at home on Sunday night as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves in an interconference showdown.

Boston enters Sunday's game with a 47-23 record after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies on the road on Friday night.

In Friday's victory over the Grizzlies, Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics as he recorded 30 points, six rebounds and six assists while Luka Garza added 22 points and seven rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now Boston will try to grab another victory on Sunday as they face off against the Timberwolves in a tough home matchup.

On the other side, Minnesota enters Sunday's contest with a 43-28 record after losing at home to the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.

Rudy Gobert led the way for the Timberwolves in Friday's loss as he ended the game with 18 points and 15 rebounds while Ayo Dosunmu recorded 17 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night's matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Timberwolves Injury Report: Will Anthony Edwards, Naz Reid Play?

For the Timberwolves, they have two players listed on their injury report for Sunday's game in Boston.

Minnesota has ruled out Anthony Edwards due to right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome as he will miss his fourth consecutive contest and he is expected to miss at least one week due to the injury.

With Edwards still sidelined, Dosunmu, Donte DiVincenzo and Bones Hyland could all continue to have larger roles.

The Timberwolves have listed Naz Reid as questionable due to a right ankle sprain and he is in danger of missing his third consecutive contest.

If Reid remains sidelined, Kyle Anderson, Terrence Shannon Jr. and Joan Beringer could all be in line for increased roles.

Celtics Injury Report: Will Jaylen Brown Play?

On the other side, the Celtics have two players listed on their injury report for Sunday, including Brown.

Boston has listed Brown as probable due to a left quad contusion and he is expected to play against the Timberwolves.
