This trade pitch would see the Ravens pair Lamar Jackson with A.J. Brown

The Baltimore Ravens have undergone quite a bit of change this offseason. They have a new head coach in Jesse Minter, and the roster has undergone some serious changes as a result. In some respects, the NFL is still reeling from Baltimore’s Maxx Crosby/Trey Hendrickson saga, but the team is powering forward in an effort to find its way to the Super Bowl in 2026.

In order for the Ravens to make a serious push, it feels like they could use another weapon on offense, especially after losing guys like tight end Isaiah Likely and running back Keaton Mitchell in free agency. Perhaps the biggest name on the trade block is Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, so let’s take a look at a trade pitch that would see Baltimore bring him to town.

Ravens’ A.J. Brown Trade Pitch

Ravens receive: WR A.J. Brown

Eagles receive: 2026 second-round pick (No. 45) and 2026 fourth-round pick (No. 115)

Baltimore has a de facto No. 1 wide receiver in Zay Flowers, but it has struggled in recent years to find a proper complement for him. Brown may be the perfect guy, as his physical style of play is quite different from Flowers, who is a speed demon. In 2025, Brown racked up 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns, despite missing a pair of games along the way.

Typically, teams don’t willingly look to move on from players of Brown’s caliber, but there’s been quite a bit of drama surrounding him in Philadelphia as of late. Throughout the 2025 campaign, Brown wasn’t shy in voicing his displeasure with his lack of involvement in the Eagles’ passing game, and it appears as if he would be open to getting traded this offseason. Philly has been fielding trade offers for Brown, so it is clearly willing to deal him if it gets the right offer.

The Eagles have been steadfast in their desire to receive a first-round pick in exchange for Brown, but to this point, it doesn’t seem that sort of offer has come their way. Considering the state of the team’s relationship with Brown and the fact that it has knowingly been discussing a trade involving him, a second and fourth-round pick in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft may be the best the Eagles can do when it comes to maximizing his value.

Would Ravens, Eagles Be Interested in This A.J. Brown Trade?

The Ravens are a bit of an interesting suitor for Brown, largely because of how much they lean on their rushing attack, which is led by Jackson and running back Derrick Henry. Would it make sense for a team that runs the ball so much to invest in another No. 1 wide receiver when it already has Flowers on board? Considering how Baltimore just backed out of its deal with Crosby, it’s tough to say the team would be willing to part with these two picks for Brown.

As for the Eagles, from a salary cap perspective, they would benefit from holding onto Brown until June 1 and then trading, as they would save an extra $20 million if they decided to trade him. With that in mind, it would probably take a bigger package of 2026 in order for them to pull the trigger on a trade now. The timing just doesn’t seem right here, and unless something changes, this is likely a trade both teams would pass on.
