As such, Kawhi Leonard has been listed as questionable to play with his ankle injury.
After a one-game absence in New Orleans due to injury management, Leonard returned to the Clippers' lineup last Saturday, powering the team's 138-131 overtime win over the Mavericks in Dallas. He exploded for 34 points, three rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 36 minutes.
The Clippers can only hope Leonard will be able to suit up. The superstar can miss just one more out of the team's final 11 games before being ruled ineligible for NBA awards this year.
Leonard has been on a roll this year for the Clippers. In 55 games, he is averaging a career-best 28.3 points in nearly 51 percent shooting with 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals.
