The San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat will go head-to-head on Monday night. San Antonio has a number of players listed on the injury report, however. The good news is that Victor Wembanyama -- who was on the injury report before ultimately being made available ahead of Saturday's 134-119 victory over the Indiana Pacers -- is not listed on the injury report for Monday's game. Meanwhile, Stephon Castle is among the Spurs dealing with an injury concern.
According to the NBA injury report, Castle is listed as questionable due to right hip tightness. Devin Vassell is also questionable because of right hamstring tightness. Harrison Ingram, David Jones Garcia and Emmanuel Miller are all out for the game due to their G League two-way statuses.
The big news is the fact that Wembanyama is not on the injury report. He was added to the injury report on Saturday due to right ankle soreness. As mentioned, he ended up playing. Wembanyama scored 20 points and performed well overall, so it seemed as if he was alright.
Sure enough, he is expected to be available on Monday night in Miami.
The Spurs will enter the game with confidence, as they are one of the best teams in the NBA. Their injury situation will be worth closely monitoring ahead of tip-off, however.

San Antonio is in second place in the Western Conference standings. Early in the season, it appeared that the Oklahoma City Thunder would cruise to the best record in the NBA. Heading into Monday's contest, though, the Spurs only trail the Thunder by three games in the West. San Antonio is currently on an 11-game win streak, and the Western Conference has become much more interesting as a result.
The Heat are more than capable of pulling off an upset. Miami is 38-33 and in ninth place in the Eastern Conference. They are 6-4 over their past 10 games overall. Miami's home court advantage will help the chances of an upset coming to fruition.
The Spurs are playing the best basketball in the league right now, though. It does not matter if they are home or away at the moment. This team is simply locked in.
Updates in reference to the Spurs' injury report will be provided before the game. Tip-off for the Spurs-Heat clash is scheduled for 7 PM EST on Monday night in Miami.
