Chelsea willing to submit‘huge offer’ for Serbia international – Figure shared, transfer on cards

Strahinja Pavlović

Chelsea want to bring AC Milan’s Strahinja Pavlović to the Premier League in the summer.

The centre-back’s development has caught Chelsea’s attention, and the Blues are willing to make a concrete effort.

Pavlović graduated from Partizan Belgrade’s youth system and made his first team debut in 2019.

He spent a year there and moved to AS Monaco in 2020, before leaving them for Red Bull Salzburg in 2022. The Austrian side then sold him to Milan for €18m in August 2024.

The Serbia international played 1,864 minutes from 24 league matches for the Serie A side last season. His situation has improved this season as he’s played 2,150 minutes from 26 matches, managing four goals and an assist.

To give an idea, below are the defender’s league stats per game from this season.

|Minutes per game|83|

|Total minutes played|2150|

|Goals|4|

The 24-year-old’s performances for the Rossoneri have caught Chelsea’s attention and Calciomercato.it now cover the latest.

Chelsea ready to make concrete advances

Earlier in the season, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy of Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona monitoring him. The source indicated Milan’s asking price could be around €60-70m.

Fast forward to March and Calciomercato.it now cover Liam Rosenior’s keen interest in the central defender.

After a mixed debut season at the San Siro under Paulo Fonseca and Sérgio Conceição, the player has established himself as a key player Massimiliano Allegri this season.

This comes at a cost as Milan have to be wary of the Club World Cup winners’ interest.

Calciomercato.it report of a ‘huge offer from Chelsea’ as they are willing to pay around €40m for the former Monaco man.

The fee quoted allows Allegri’s side to make a ‘significant capital gain’ in the summer, but they don’t seem keen on selling him. Therefore, the west London club have to convince Milan to stand a chance to acquire Strahinja Pavlović’s signature.

Serbian’s contract, value and agent info

Strahinja Pavlović

The Rossoneri gave him a contract until 2028 with an option for another year. He is now valued at €28m by Transfermarkt, the highest so far in his career. Such valuations are often below true value, and AC Milan are likely to ask for more.

Serbian agent Zvonimir Vukic’s company, Football Agency 10, takes care of his future.

The agency has two clients and Pelister Bitola’s 20-year-old Mihajlo Petrovic is another client.
