After a week from hell, former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit has told Liam Rosenior 'he should have thought twice' before taking the Blues job.
Rosenior joined in January as the successor to Enzo Maresca after he spent two years at Strasbourg and was able to help the French side qualify for the Conference League in his second season.

He signed a six-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge and won his first four games in charge with his new side.
However, Chelsea quickly took a turn in form after they had only won one game in the last six, which was a 4-1 victory away at Aston Villa.
In the last two weeks, the Blues dropped out of the Champions League after they lost 8-2 on aggregate to Paris Saint-Germain
In the Premier League, they were defeated at home to Newcastle and were dominated by Everton 3-0 which has left the club at serious risk of missing out on Champions League qualification for next season.

Petit spoke on the ex-Strasbourg manager being out of his depth on Monday morning's talkSPORT Breakfast show with Ally McCoist and Ray Parlour.
He said: "He was doing a great job at Strasbourg and he should have thought about it twice before he accepted the job at Chelsea because the step up is too high for him.
"I think he's a good manager but he’s still young. He has to learn so many things before managing a top club like Chelsea.
"It was a pity to watch him being sat down on the bench so many times especially after the game away against PSG.
"His communication straight after the game was that he was a loser - the messages he sent to his players and the fans. ‘We scored two goals we were almost there to score a third…
"All of a sudden we concede three goals and we are losing 5-2 and there’s no way we are going to come back in a week at Stamford Bridge'.

"This is exactly the message he sends to everyone and when you’re a manager and managing a top club like Chelsea you can’t do that.
"The way he’s acting, his body language on the bench, the way he’s always trying to write things down on the paper then giving it to his players, I mean... come on.
"They [the players] don’t get it, it was the case 20 years ago as well, we don’t get it so don’t do that, we’re not stupid, we’re not kids so just try to behave in the right way.
"I don’t know if you’ve seen the image in the last game where they lost 3-0 to Everton, I saw that game and after the third goal he tries to make a substitution and he writes something down.
"He turned very quickly to his players who were about to come on the pitch and shown him something on a piece of paper but if you have a quick look at the player behind him, the way they look at the manager tells me a lot."
Rosenior has caused controversy after the Chelsea players stood around the referee Paul Tierney on the centre circle in their fixture with Newcastle.

In his post-match interview he justified the decision of the team as their way of showing their 'respect for the ball'.
Many neutrals found the reasoning hilarious and even caused Everton to make a cheeky dig towards Chelsea on social media as they posted an image of Jake O'Brien holding a ball with the caption 'Respecting the ball'.
The defeat for the Blues leaves the club in sixth spot as they failed to take advantage of leapfrogging Liverpool after their 2-1 defeat to Brighton.
The Stamford Bridge faithful are calling for a change of manager including former star and current Como boss Cesc Fabregas.
