Jude Law's daughter has been grinning from ear to ear after she was able to catch a snap with Lewis Capaldi. It comes days after she was allegedly "left in tears" by Chappell Roan's team.

The actor's 11-year-old daughter, who was not named, posed for a photo with the Someone You Loved singer as he came off the stage at Lollapalooza 2026 in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. However, the festival has since been marred in controversy as a result of the kid's interaction with Chappell Roan's security.

However, trying to move past the incident, The Holiday star Jude's ex thanked Lewis for his "kindness" as he grabbed a photo with the young girl. It comes as the furore surrounding Chappell's run-in with the family deepens.

Jude's ex Catherine Harding took to her social media on Sunday (March 22), to post a photo of her daughter with Scottish music icon Lewis. The pair seemed to be in good spirits, with Capaldi, 29, gave a thumbs up to the camera.

Catherine also caught a quick photo with the singing sensation, captioning the photos: "Thanks for your kindness." It's a far cry from the turmoil the family went through the day before due to Chappell Roan's team.

Ex-Chelsea and Arsenal star Jorginho took to his social media on Saturday (March 21) to share his shock at the way Chappell's entourage had treated the family. In a scathing post on his story, the footballer — who is a stepdad to the 11-year-old girl — said the singer's bodyguard threatened them.

Writing in a lengthy post, Jorginho said: "This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire. By coincidence, they're staying at the same hotel as this artist.

"During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognized her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her."

He continued: "What happened next was completely disproportionate. A large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn't allow my daughter to 'disrespect' or 'harass' other people."

Giving her own response to the debacle, Chappell admitted that what the girl went through was wrong and that she "did not deserve that" kind of treatment. However, she also explained from her perspective, adding that she had never even seen the girl.

The Hot To Go songstress added that the bodyguard in question was not a member of her own personal security team, before going on to dispute the claims that she ordered the security to move them away. She explained that she herself was unhappy with how the security dealt with the issue.

"I do not hate people who are fans of my music," she continued, "I do not hate children, like that is crazy. I am sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming something."
