The 2026 NFL Draft is approximately four weeks away, and Penn State football prospects have invested plenty into the process. Many of them returned to campus last week for Pro Day and a smaller collection of Nittany Lions previously travel to Indianapolis for the league's Scouting Combine.
As NFL teams and industry analysts continue to collect more data on players, draft boards are beginning to crystallize. NFL.com produced one of the most notable recent mock drafts, and it goes deep.
Published a few days after Penn State Pro Day, it features four full rounds of projected picks, spanning 140 selections. Six Nittany Lions are featured, which would exceed the total amount of PSU players who heard their names called across seven rounds in 2025 (five). However, there is a notable absence from this list, as Drew Allar is not among the small number (four) of quarterbacks included.
As usual, the group headline by offensive lineman Vega Ioane.
"It's definitely been crazy," Ioane said at Pro Day of the pre-draft experience. "You know, being highly regarded as a first-round pick, you still don't know until draft day comes around. But it feels good that all the work I put in, it's getting closer and closer."
