The Denver Broncos acquired a major weapon for quarterback Bo Nix and the passing offense by acquiring playmaking wide receiver Jaylen Waddle in a blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins, and may be about to add another big piece for the offense during the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.
After reaching the AFC Championship Game after a season where Nix showed marked improvement, general manager George Paton and head coach Sean Payton seem to be making a big commitment to surrounding their young quarterback with the kind of infrastructure to take that next big step.
The next piece of the puzzle could come as an upgrade along the offensive line.

In the days ahead, the Broncos are hosting Josh Gesky for a top-30 pre-draft visit, the Illinois offensive guard told Between The Hashmarks.
A four-year starter, Gesky, 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, proved instrumental in helping pave the way for Illinois’ ground game during his collegiate career in Champaign.
“I love running the football,” Gesky said. “I love moving people against their will.”
In Denver, Gesky would have the opportunity to not just help keep Nix upright, but anchor an offensive line tasked with opening running lanes for running backs J.K. Dobbins, R.J. Harvey, and any back that the Broncos might add during the draft, in an offense that finished the 2025 campaign ranked just 16th in the league, on the ground.
