Is Tom Brady heading for a second un-retirement?
The seven-time Super Bowl champion returned to the field on Saturday, March 21 for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic where he looked to be channeling his NFL form.
“Gets you thinking…” the 48-year-old broadcaster wrote on X alongside a Fox Sports highlight.
In the clip, Brady eluded a sack and threw a touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs.
According to NFL.com, it was the retired athlete’s first play in a competitive football game in more than 1,000 days.
Brady then threw a pass to former teammate and longtime friend Rob Gronkowski for a 2-point conversion, but his Founders FFC team eventually went on to lose to Team USA, 43-16. After the loss, the ever-competitive Brady — who also threw for a touchdown in Founder FFC's first game — admitted his "heart is really hurting right now."

The game came days after the future Hall of Famer revisited the idea of returning to his playing days.
While on Good Morning America last week, the father of three said he "would never say never" to “going for gold” in flag football at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles but admitted, "it is probably unlikely, just so you know."
"I think for these young guys, it’s good for them to do it," Brady said. "If I ever wanted to come in as an advisory role, as a coach, something like that, that’s probably better suited for me."
He added, "I’ll let the young Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen get out there and try to win a gold medal for the U.S."
One of those young guys — 29-year-old Joe Burrow — has previously shared his interest in playing on Team USA.
“I’ve always wanted to play in the Olympics,” Burrow told reporters ahead of the game. “I’ve never necessarily played an Olympic sport before, so when this got announced, I was pretty excited about it.”
