Monday night marks the first and only meeting between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The home team is dealing with some notable injury concerns. On the afternoon of the matchup, the Sixers added a surprising name to the injury report in Quinten Grimes.

The playing status of the veteran sharpshooter is now up in the air, after he was previously available for the game.

According to the Sixers’ injury report, Grimes is questionable with an illness.

He joins a long list of players on the report, which includes Dominick Barlow, Johni Broome, Joel Embiid, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, and Kelly Oubre Jr.

Dominick Barlow (left ankle sprain) has been upgraded from doubtful to QUESTIONABLE.

Grimes hasn’t missed action for the Sixers since February 11. At the time, he missed games against the Portland Trail Blazers and the New York Knicks.

After Grimes returned to the court on February 19 to face the Atlanta Hawks, he has been healthy ever since.

With the Sixers dealing with a long list of injury concerns throughout late February, all through March, Grimes has moved up the pecking order and has been thriving as a full-time starter since the March 3 game against the San Antonio Spurs.

This season, Grimes is seeing the court for 30.1 minutes per game.

The veteran guard is shooting 45.1% from the field and 32.9% from three, to average 13.9 points per game. Along with his scoring, he’s producing 3.7 rebounds per game and 3.4 assists.

The Sixers and the Thunder are scheduled for a 7 PM ET tip on March 23.
