Odell Beckham Jr. hasn’t suited up for an NFL game since Week 14 of the 2023 season, when he caught one pass for one yard for the Miami Dolphins. After being released by Miami and serving a six-game PED suspension that kept him sidelined until Week 12 of the 2025 season, he remained a free agent.
Now 33 and with multiple major knee injuries on his resume, OBJ appeared at the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Los Angeles on Saturday, hoping to prove he still belongs in the league. He also wants to reunite with the New York Giants, but it seems like folks don’t want him back.
Odell Beckham Jr. ‘would love’ Giants reunion to catch passes from Jaxson Dart
At the event, Beckham recorded 35 receiving yards on six receptions and caught a touchdown for the Wildcats FFC. His most impactful moment, however, came on a two-point conversion. Beckham outjumped two defenders to haul in a high pass from Jayden Daniels with a signature one-handed grab that went viral. Despite his efforts, the Wildcats were defeated 39–14 by Team USA in their opening matchup.

On the sidelines, FanDuel TV’s Kay Adams floated the idea of Beckham reuniting with the Giants to play alongside second-year QB Jaxson Dart. Beckham responded enthusiastically, stating, “That sounds great. If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that. [I’d] be excited about that”. He praised Dart’s personality, saying, “He’s a good dude. He’s young. He likes to dance. I like all that. They look like they have fun”.

Dart is coming off a promising rookie season in which he completed 63.7% of his passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions across 12 starts, adding 487 rushing yards and a franchise-record nine rushing scores.
And with head coach John Harbaugh, who previously worked with Beckham in the Baltimore Ravens, now running New York’s sideline, the familiarity factor is hard to ignore. But no official interest from the Giants organization has been reported. However, Giants fans let him know exactly how they feel about it.
Giants fans aren’t buying it
The clip spread fast on X, and the response from the fan base was about as warm as a December night at MetLife.
“Bro needs a check bad,” one fanwrotebluntly.
Another oneadded, “He’s broke. He’s bankrupt. He needs a payday. He’s burnt every bridge. He’s old and washed up.”
A third oneclaimed, “Hate to say this but at 33 with 3 major knee injuries, call it a career and save face.”
The fourth fanadded, “He’s washed. Why do we care. It’s over.”
And a random X userpenned, “He’s broke! Idk how you piss through $100 million. That’s generational wealth!”
For now, he just wants to be part of the reunion. What happens next will depend on how the NFL offseason unfolds.
