“Stays in Seattle”: Seattle Seahawks Reveal Fan Favorites’ 2026 Fate

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo had a lackluster 2025 campaign, posting career lows in receiving, games played, and playing time, though he was a solid run blocker and excelled on special teams. Bobo hauled in two receptions for 20 yards across 11 regular-season games and 117 offensive snaps, plus two receptions for 33 yards in the playoffs, including a 17-yard touchdown in the NFC Championship Game. He missed three games due to a concussion, calf, and achilles injury and was a healthy scratch three times.

The Seahawks placed a right-of-first-refusal RFA tender on Bobo. The Jaguars signed him to a two-year, $5.5 million offer sheet last Friday, with a maximum value of $7 million, including $4.5 million in guaranteed money. The front office had five days to match the offer sheet, and if they chose not to match, Seattle would not be entitled to draft compensation.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Seahawks have matched Jake Bobo’s offer sheet. As a result, the former undrafted free agent and fan favorite will remain in Seattle on a two-year, $5.5 million deal, up to $7 million and $4.5 million guaranteed. Once Bobo completes the entire duration of his contract, he will become an unrestricted free agent in 2028.

The Seahawks are matching Jacksonville’s offer sheet to Jake Bobo, who now stays in Seattle on a two-year, $5.5 million deal that includes $4.5M guaranteed, per source.

Seattle likes his blocking. It’s interesting they were able to get deals done for Shaheed, JSN, and Bobo. They prioritized receiving options for Darnold. Shows they think they can find a RB in the draft and want a RB by committee approach again next year.
