Josh Hart of the New York Knicks has made his last nine three-pointers over the team’s last three games.
According to the franchise, Hart is now tied for third in team history with the most consecutive three-pointers made, as they announced in a post on X.
In the Knicks’ latest win over the Washington Wizards, Hart finished with 16 points, going 3/3 from deep, while in his previous game against the Indiana Pacers, he scored a season-high 33 points on 5/5 shooting from three-point range. He also went 1/1 from three in New York’s win over the Golden State Warriors, but finished with just seven points on that occasion.
Josh Hart Historic 3-Point Shooting For Knicks
Hart has been in and out of the lineup recently as he’s dealt with a knee injury. But when he plays specifically over the Knicks’ last three games, Hart has been deadeye from three-point range.
After tying third for New York’s most consecutive threes made in franchise history, Hart gave a wild reaction to hearing the news.
“He said ‘You made nine threes in a row dating back like three games ago. What’s going on?’ That’s low-key kind of disrespectful, right?” Hart asked teammate Jalen Brunson. “Appreciate you calling me trash. But I don’t know, I guess I’m just throwing the ball up there. And unfortunately, it’s going in.”

Separately, Brunson gave credit to Hart when asked by reporters about his three-point shooting hot streak over the past few games.
“He’s been in the gym working on his game,” the point guard said. “We all know what he’s capable of.”
Hart is shooting 48.1% from deep on three attempts per game in the month of March, while also going 40.4% from outside the arc on 3.7 attempts per game over the course of the season.
“He makes things happen on the floor, and what I like more than anything else is teams are leaving him wide open, and he’s letting it fly, and he works his (expletive) off when it comes to shooting the basketball,” head coach Mike Brown said after the Knicks’ win over the Wizards. “He works really hard at it, and it’s good for him to show people the work he’s put in.”
While Hart has missed a few games with his knee injury, he hasn’t missed a three-point attempt in two weeks.
Knicks Injury Report
Hart was originally questionable for New York’s game against Washington, as he missed the matchup before against the Brooklyn Nets. However, he ended up playing, and currently isn’t named on the Knicks’ injury report for their Tuesday game versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
But while Hart’s availability is a good sign for the title-hopeful team, they have a few other players listed on the injury report in the leadup to their game against the Pelicans.
Miles McBride remains out, recovering from surgery in early February. The latest injury update is good news for the Knicks, but they still doesn’t have a direct timeline for a return for the backup guard.

Landry Shamet and Kevin McCullar are also listed on New York’s injury report, both day-to-day with knee and calf injuries, respectively.
While there were serious concerns about this team in the middle stretch of the regular season, the Knicks are on a six-game winning streak, and are looking to challenge the Boston Celtics for the second seed in the East standings.
New York made the conference finals for the first time in 25 years last season, and they hope to advance even further this year, with aspirations of the franchise’s first title since 1974 apparent all season.
