Son of former NFL DB schedules official visit to Kentucky

College Park (Tex.) The Woodlands wide receiver Julian Cromartie (6-foot-2, 180) has scheduled an official visit to Kentucky June 5. Cromartie also has a trip to Kansas on the books for May 1. Wide receivers coach Joe Price III has served as the primary recruiter.

He spent his first two seasons playing high school football at Mater Dei in California. His father, Antonio Cromartie, played at Florida State before entering the NFL as the No. 19 overall selection by the San Diego Chargers in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Cromartie is rated a .8650 on a scale to 1.000 by the 247Sports Composite, which equates to the nation's No. 111 wide receiver. Georgia, Michigan, Texas, Texas Tech and Ole Miss are among the other schools to offer.

The Wildcats have three commitments in the 2027 recruiting class from Owensboro (Ky.) linebacker Ty Ashley, Somerset (Ky.) Pulaski County interior offensive lineman Brady Hull and Louisville (Ky.) Jeffersontown safety Larron Westmoreland.
