LSU Football held their 2026 Pro Day on Monday, March 23rd and 17 former LSU football players put their talents on display in hopes of impressing NFL scouts.
Among the 17, some standout performances of the day came from LB Harold Perkings, CB Mansoor Delane, WR Chris Hilton, and QB Garrett Nussmeier.
Perkins lit up drills and testing showing what he can do on and off the field. Perkins best time in the 40-yd dash was an unofficial 4.40, had a 35 inch vertical and had 20 reps on the bench press.
Delane ran a blazing 4.35 40-yd dash, putting him at the top of the list on the day. Outside of jumps and runs, Delane participated in position drills and showed his agility and quick reflexes as he looks ahead to possibly hearing his name called within the top five.
Chris Hilton has had his stock raised tremendously in the pre-draft process and his showing at the pro day was no different. Hilton ran 4.41 in the 40 yd dash and had the highest vertical of the day with a 38.5.
Perhaps the most talked about story within the pro day was how Garrett Nussmeier looked fully healthy. Nussmeier had his last season in the purple and gold cut short due to an abdomen injury he says hindered his performance, ultimately limiting his throwing ability.
Now that Nussmeier is officially healthy, and says he hopes NFL scouts saw what he could bring to the table.
“I feel pretty good, getting back to being myself. It’s been, obviosly, a long process of trying to do that, but I am feeling great. Felt like today I showed who I am when I am healthy and can actually throw the ball.”
These former Tigers will hope to hear their name called from Pittsburgh, PA.
