Just as Moses Moody returned to the court for the Golden State Warriors on March 23, the veteran guard went down with an injury, which caused him to get carted back to the locker room.
After another injury scare for Golden State, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr addressed the setback on Monday night:
“We don’t know what it is, but it sure looked bad,” Kerr told reporters, according to Nick Friedell.
Moody was seen leaving the x-ray room with a big brace on his knee.

Podz said the mood in the locker room feels the same as when Jimmy got hurt.
During the first and only overtime period against the Dallas Mavericks, Moody snagged a steal and got into transition on his own.
As the guard went up for a routine slam dunk, his lower body gave out. Moody’s dunk attempt was unsuccessful, leading to a turnover.
He appeared to be grabbing at his knee as the Mavericks got the ball back and took it down to the other end for an offensive possession.

Monday’s appearance was the first since March 2 for Moody.
Throughout March, Moody has been dealing with a wrist injury. In his last game out, he started for 25 minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors’ guard shot 33.3% from the field to score 10 points. He also produced one assist and three rebounds.
Moody’s wrist-related setback caused a 10-game stretch of absences.
Before he sat out for that period, Moody had 59 games under his belt. The veteran was producing 11.9 points per game, while shooting 44.1% from the field, and knocking down 40.2% of his threes, taking 6.2 attempts per game.
Beyond his scoring, Moody produced 1.6 assists per game, and came down with 3.3 rebounds per matchup.

As the Warriors wait for Moody’s official diagnosis, they already have a stacked injury report, which has hurt them throughout the second half of the season.
Jimmy Butler went down with a torn ACL. He isn’t returning this season. Seth Curry is dealing with a left adductor strain and was ruled out for a week at minimum.
The veteran superstar Steph Curry has been dealing with a knee injury that isn’t expected to end his season, but he hasn’t seen the court since before the February All-Star break. His return timeline is unclear.
Al Horford is battling a right soleus strain and was ruled out for at least one week as well. Quinten Post has been in and out of the lineup due to a foot injury.
De’Anthony Melton and Kristaps Porzingis are in a similar position as Post, managing setbacks by taking time off as a part of a plan.
After Monday’s win over the Mavs, the Warriors improved to 34-38 on the year. They are 10th in the Western Conference, trailing the Portland Trail Blazers by 1.5 games.
