He is due his option bonus worth $29.2m, if the Cleveland Browns are going to trade him then they will make the move before he is paid this money. So come the 26th if he is still on the roster then content producers will have to find something else to talk about. The full $29.2m does land on the 2026 salary cap, it is $5.84m over each of the next five years.
Jerry Jeudy - 25th March & 1st September
He has two 2026 triggers in his contract, tomorrow he will get a $6m option bonus, then on the 1st of September a $5.987m option bonus. If they were going to do something bold with trading for a wide receiver and moving him then it would have to happen today. They are likely hoping he can get back to his impressive 2024 season.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah - 25h March
He has a fully guaranteed $10.42m option bonus due. They will be able to recoup some of this through insurance after the 2026 season has completed. This is why it makes sense to keep him on an injury list and make a decision next offseason when he can retire or be cut.
