Ingram was expected to start, but was pulled just before tip-off due to heel inflammation. Ja'Kobe Walter took his place in the lineup, with the team later confirming Ingram would sit out.
After the game, Rajakovic gave a calm update on the forward's condition.
"It's really not a big concern over here. It just flared up. It's something that we are going to take a look at and see how he feels tomorrow. But I don't think it's going to be anything (serious)," Rajakovic said in a post-game press interview.
The Raptors coach suggested it was more of a precaution, with the team choosing not to take any risks before tip-off. Even without Ingram, Toronto had no trouble handling business on the court.
The Raptors controlled the game from the start and secured a 143-127 win at Delta Center. RJ Barrett led the scoring with 27 points on efficient shooting, while Sandro Mamukelashvili added 23 points, four rebounds, and five steals. Walter and Scottie Barnes also scored over 20 points.
The win improves the Raptors to 40-31, placing them fifth in the Eastern Conference as they continue their push toward the playoffs. They will return to action on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
