Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis were both linked with the Chelsea job before the Blues appointed Liam Rosenior as manager.
At one stage, it was even thought that Luis had interviewed for the role of Chelsea boss.
However, since then, it has emerged that the Brazilian was actually being interviewed for the head coach position at Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg.
What position would Chelsea be in NOW if Enzo Maresca was still in charge?
Be honest!
Chelsea fans prefer Cesc Fabregas to Filipe Luis
With Rosenior’s future a topic of conversation right now following his side’s poor run of form, The Chelsea Chronicle asked supporters who they would rather see replace the 41-year-old: Fabregas or Luis.
In the end, there was only one winner. On TalkingPoints, 77% of fans voted for Fabregas, clearly impressed with the job he has done at Como.
Como are flying in Serie A presently and are on course to qualify for the Champions League. They are currently fourth in the table with just eight games to go.
It means that the Italian club are in a higher position than Chelsea, who sit sixth in the Premier League table.

Chelsea’s current boss, Rosenior, was recently criticised by Emmanuel Petit for taking too many notes down during games.
Cesc Fabregas’ record at Como
Fabregas is really proving his managerial credentials at Como. After 74 games in charge, the Spaniard has won 33 matches, drawn 20 and lost 21, as per Transfermarkt.
That is excellent for a team who were only recently promoted to Serie A. All things considered, then, Fabregas looks to be heading to the very top.
Given his potential as a coach and his successful stint at Chelsea as a player, most Blues supporters probably would accept him as their new manager.
Fabregas won two Premier League titles, one Europa League trophy and a couple of domestic cups during his time at Stamford Bridge. One day, maybe he will get a chance to win one of those honours as Chelsea manager.
