The Golden State Warriors may have walked away with a 137-131 overtime win over the Dallas Mavericks, but the result quickly took a back seat as teammates reacted to the serious knee injury suffered by Moses Moody late in the game.

For the Warriors locker room, the focus shifted immediately from basketball to concern for a teammate. Moody was stretchered off after a non-contact injury to his left knee in the final minute of overtime, leaving players shaken on the court and inside the arena.

Brandin Podziemski was among the first players to speak after the game, drawing a direct comparison to an earlier setback within the team.

"Same as what happened with Jimmy," Podziemski said per The Athletic. "Not really words. You just hate to see it. Especially to the good people in life."

Gary Payton II, who has seen Moody put in the work to return from a recent wrist injury, emphasized the effort the young guard had made just to get back on the floor.

"It's his first game back and he does so much rehab and everything, takes care of his body, does what he needs to do to get back," Payton said. "Moses does all the right things. It sucks to see Moses go down, but he's in our prayers. I know he'll bounce back."

Veteran leader Draymond Green also showed his support in real time, staying close to Moody as he was placed on the stretcher and helping him off the court. His postgame reaction reflected the emotions inside the team.

"I just feel for Mo, man," Green said.

Head coach Steve Kerr addressed Moody's performance before turning to the injury, noting both his impact on the floor and his role in the locker room.

"Mo is such a great human being," Kerr said. "Great teammate. Wonderful guy to coach. Just puts in the work every day and was brilliant tonight, by the way."

Kerr also acknowledged how quickly the mood changed once the severity of the injury became clear, pointing to the reaction from everyone on the floor.

"We don't know what it is, but it sure looked bad," Kerr said. "Everybody on the floor was just horrified."

Inside the organization, players continued to rally around Moody. Several teammates, including Stephen Curry, stayed nearby during his medical evaluation, showing support as he was eventually seen leaving the arena on crutches with a brace and later in a wheelchair.
