Chelsea have faced some backlash for the decision to hire Liam Rosenior as the club’s manager, although the Blues are reportedly prepared to stand by their call.
Rosenior started strong after being brought in to replace Enzo Maresca, although is currently overseeing a run of just two wins in eight games in all competitions.
This included an exit from the Champions League in a tie against PSG, where some Chelsea fans were heard booing Rosenior as his side were dumped out in rough circumstances.

Chelsea not expected to sack Liam Rosenior this summer
Despite the initial fan backlash and poor run of form, there is no indication that the club are willing to accept they made the wrong call.
In fact, BBC Sport have reported that there is no indication that Chelsea are looking to part ways with Rosenior, even at the end of the season.

It remains to be seen how this will change if the club do not achieve their goal of qualifying for the Champions League. They currently sit outside of the top five places which would secure their place.
There is an unlikely scenario where Chelsea can finish sixth and qualify for the competition, however that would rely on Aston Villa winning the Europa League and finishing in the top five.
