Boston Celtics / Schedule
The Celtics, who fell 102-92 to the Minnesota Timberwolves at TD Garden, still sit at 47-24 and lead the Atlantic Division. Despite the loss, the main highlight came from Shulga's unique performance across two levels of competition.
Earlier in the day, Shulga played for the Maine Celtics in the G League, where he logged 28 minutes in a 121-91 win over the Cleveland Charge, finishing with 12 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Later that night, he appeared in the NBA game against Minnesota and scored his first career NBA basket.
By recording points in both games on the same day, Shulga became the first player in Celtics franchise history to accomplish the feat.
Shulga was selected 57th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. He has spent most of the season developing with Maine, where he is averaging 15.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game.
