TEAMtalk claim that the Gunners were keeping an eye on the France Under 21 international during Lille’s 2-1 win over Marseille on Sunday.

Bouaddi has been on the London club’s radar for quite some time, and it appears they are serious about making a move for a player who has been described as a “world-class talent”.

TEAMtalk suggest that the scouting mission is another clear sign that a “big money” move could be made for the teenager during the summer transfer window.

How much will Bouaddi cost?

Reports in the French media claim that Lille will demand a fee above €50m (£43m) for the 18-year-old.

The Ligue One side will feel that they are in a strong position to hold out for a sizeable sum for a couple of reasons.

Bouaddi only signed a contract extension back in December, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2029. There are also plenty of other teams keeping tabs on the player.

Arsenal will face competition for the midfielder

TEAMtalk report that Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea also sent scouts on Sunday to see Bouaddi in action.

However, many believe that European champions Paris Saint-Germain will pose the biggest threat to the Gunners’ chances of securing the youngster’s services.

Luis Enrique’s team are expected to strengthen their options in the middle of the park. Fabian Ruiz has had his injury problems in recent months, and he will have just a year left on his contract at the end of the season.

PSG have had recent dealings with Lille as well, having recruited goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier as a replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma back in August, so that may give them the edge in negotiations for Bouaddi.
