Golden State Warriors star Moses Moody was stretchered off the court after suffering a gnarly leg injury during a game against the Dallas Mavericks.
With 1:13 left in overtime on Monday, March 23, Moody, 23, went up for a wide-open dunk. However, when he attempted to lift off the ground, his left knee crumpled and he was sent splaying to the floor in dramatic fashion.
Play continued for a few moments, but the game was eventually stopped as Moody was treated by team physicians.
Gruesome clips of the injury circulated on social media, showing Moody's knee protruding from his leg.
A stretcher was brought out to the floor at Dallas' American Airlines Arena, which took Moody to the locker room as his teammates, including Draymond Green, hugged him and gave him words of encouragement.
Warriors superstar Steph Curry, who is currently dealing with a right knee injury and hasn't played since January 30, was seen with his head in his hands while sitting on the bench.
Moody was able to briefly wave to the crowd on his way to the locker room, where an X-ray was performed.

"We don't know what it is, but it sure looked bad," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the game. "Just hoping for the best."
Kerr, 60, added, "Mo is such a great human being. Great teammate. Wonderful guy to coach. Just puts in the work every day and was brilliant [Monday night], by the way."
According to ESPN, Moody flew back with the team on Tuesday night and will have an MRI on Tuesday, March 24.
"It's brutal, you know we've been waiting to get back healthy," Green, 36, told NBA on ESPN Radio after the game. "Moses is a guy who does everything right … and he changed the game for us tonight."
The Warriors star added, "Everything started going bad, he picked up his defensive intensity, knocked shots down, he changed the game for us. To see him go out like that [was] bad."
Golden State won the game 137-131 and currently find themselves in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race in a season that's been largely dictated by injuries. The team already lost star Jimmy Butler with a season-ending torn ACL in January.
The Warriors are in 10th place in the Western Conference, jostling for position for a spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament. Golden State hopes to have Curry, 38, back for the start of the postseason.
