Arsenal midfielder Eberechi Eze is reportedly facing up to six weeks out with the calf injury he suffered against Bayer Leverkusen.
Eze missed Arsenal’s Carabao Cup final loss to Manchester City on Sunday after being replaced during the second half of the aforementioned Champions League last-16 second leg tie five days prior.
In his absence, Kai Havertz started in the No10 role behind Viktor Gyokeres before Bukayo Saka was moved there as the Gunners chased a way back into the final after conceding twice is a decisive four-minute spell.
Speaking after the Wembley showpiece, Mikel Arteta revealed that Eze - who has since withdrawn from the England squad - was set to undergo a scan later this week.
"We have to do another scan in six or seven days and wait to see the results," Arteta said.
According to the BBC, there are concerns that Eze could miss between four to six weeks of action which would represent a major blow for Arsenal at a crucial stage of the season.
If the reports are accurate, then the worst-case scenario would leave Arsenal without their in-form attacking midfielder until May at the earliest.

The Gunners will be in action six times across three different competitions during the month of April, with the possibility of an additional two fixtures should they progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup and Champions League.
Arsenal return to action after the international break against Southampton in the FA Cup before a Premier League clash at home to Bournemouth is sandwiched between a Champions League quarter-final against Sporting CP.
Arteta’s side, as things currently stand, will complete April with Premier League games against Man City and Newcastle.
Eze, if ruled out for six weeks, would miss all six matches - potentially eight - including the big game at the Etihad Stadium on April 19.
The best-case scenario would be that Arsenal have the 27-year-old available for selection for the trip to Manchester, but the home game against Fulham on May 2 could be a more realistic return date.
