Tampa Bay Buccaneers great Lavonte David has retired from the NFL after 14 seasons with the team.
David, who was part of the Bucs' 2020 Super Bowl-winning side spearheaded by Tom Brady, announced his decision in a statement via Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
The Pro Bowl linebacker, 36, goes down as a Bucs legend after setting the franchise record for tackles for loss, forced fumbles and fumble recoveries.
