The Sacramento Kings are dealing with a pair of fresh injury concerns in the backcourt following Sunday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, creating added uncertainty as the team pushes through the final stretch of the season.
Kings guard Killian Hayes and rookie guard Nique Clifford both exited the contest early, prompting further evaluation. Here are the latest updates on where things stand for each player moving forward as Sacramento continues its final road trip of the season.

Sacramento Kings Injury Updates
Sacramento Kings guard Killian Hayes underwent MRI imaging on his left foot after exiting the game at the end of the second quarter versus the Brooklyn Nets on March 22. MRI imaging revealed inflammation in the left toe. Hayes is considered day-to-day.
Kings guard Nique Clifford underwent MRI imaging on his left foot after exiting the game in the fourth quarter versus the Brooklyn Nets on March 22. MRI imaging revealed a mild midfoot sprain. Clifford will be listed as out and will be reevaluated in approximately one week.
With just ten games to go, an already thin rotation will become even more sparse as head coach Doug Christie will have to get creative during this East Coast road trip.
Sacramento is already without Domantas Sabonis (knee), De’Andre Hunter (eye), Zach LaVine (hand), and Drew Eubanks (hand) for the rest of the season, while Keegan Murray (ankle) appears unlikely to return before the season concludes in three weeks.
Russell Westbrook (foot) and Precious Achiuwa (back) are also dealing with injuries and missed the Kings’ game in Charlotte on Tuesday.
