According to reports, the New York Giants have agreed to terms with long snapper Zach Triner, pending a physical.

Triner has played in 85 regular-season games over the last seven NFL seasons, 81 of which were with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2019-2024). He appeared in three games with the Miami Dolphins (2024) and one with the Washington Commanders (2025). Triner has also spent time with the New York Jets (2017), Green Bay Packers (2017), Denver Broncos (2025), Seattle Seahawks (2025) and Atlanta Falcons (2025).

Prior to going undrafted in 2015, Triner played three seasons at Assumption University. He transferred there after beginning his collegiate career playing lacrosse at Siena College

During his time at Assumption, he played as both a defensive end and long snapper. In his senior campaign, Triner finished with 5.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss.

The Giants have overhauled their group of specialists this offseason. Triner will look to replace Casey Kreiter, who signed with the Arizona Cardinals after spending the last six seasons as the Giants' long snapper. They also brought in punter Jordan Stout and kicker Jason Sanders.
