The Houston Rockets are expected to explore a potential offseason trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo, joining several other teams reportedly interested in the Milwaukee Bucks superstar.
The Houston Rockets are expected to explore the possibility of trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo during the upcoming offseason, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.

"The Giannis thing that's out there, I believe that they're gonna try to make a run at him in the offseason," Mannix said on the Open Floor podcast.
The Rockets traded for Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns last offseason and also possess several future draft picks, giving them the assets needed to build a strong offer if Giannis becomes available.
Antetokounmpo does not hold a no-trade clause in his contract and has a $62.8 million player option for the 2027'28 season.
He will also be eligible to sign a four-year extension with Milwaukee starting October 1.
Meanwhile, Bucks co-owner Wes Edens recently indicated that the franchise does not intend to keep the situation uncertain, saying the two-time MVP will either sign an extension or be moved.
Antetokounmpo, who won both MVP and Finals MVP honors during the 2021 NBA Finals, has spent his entire NBA career with Milwaukee.
If he does become available, several other teams are also expected to show interest, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
