Denver Broncos legend Peyton Manning turned 50-years-old on Tuesday.
What a first half-century he’s spent on Earth.
The Hall of Fame quarterback was spectacular on the field, winning two Super Bowls, including in his last ever game in the NFL. Manning and an elite Broncos defense took home Super Bowl 50 a little more than a decade ago.
And his second chapter off the field has been equally as successful, creating a media empire with Omaha Productions while still living and being active in the Denver community.
The Broncos wished Peyton Manning a happy birthday as March 24, 1976 was the day an icon came into the world.

Peyton Manning spent the first 13 years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts after being the No. 1 overall pick out of the University of Tennessee in the 1998 NFL Draft. He won Super Bowl XLI with the Colts, topping the Chicago Bears.
A neck injury forced Manning to miss all of the 2011 season and he eventually landed with the Broncos. Former Denver GM John Elway and others convinced Manning to have his second act in the Mile High City.
It worked out brilliantly as Manning played in two Super Bowls and won one, while also taking home 2013 NFL MVP honors, the fifth time in his career he won the award.
Manning threw for 55 touchdowns during the 2013 season, a record that still stands today. He battled injuries in 2015, but ultimately came back in the final game of the year to help the Broncos secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.
He started all three postseason games against the Steelers, Patriots and Panthers and hoisted the Lombardi trophy with a 24-10 victory over Carolina.
It was an absolute treat for Broncos Country to watch Manning play and a point of pride that he still calls Denver home.
At 50-years-old we’ll still hear plenty more from Peyton Manning as his profile is just as big now as when he was the top QB in the NFL.
Happy birthday to a legend.
