It’s been a rough month for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

The 32-year-old signal-caller had his wedding to fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos called off during their bachelor and bachelorette parties, respectively, and several rumors immediately started spreading as to why.

However, according to Page Six, Ramos was the one who canceled the wedding after accusing Prescott of being unfaithful.

“Sarah Jane Ramos called off her wedding to NFL star Dak Prescott after accusing him of ‘ongoing infidelity issues,’” the outlet reported.

“A source familiar with the situation claims to us that Ramos believes Prescott had a history of communicating with other women during his relationship with her — but that she stayed with him hoping he would clean up his act for the sake of their family.”

While Prescott has faced his fare share of public scrutiny after Ramos’ allegations, there are still a handful of people sticking up for the $60 million QB.

Fox Sports reporters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson, who host the “Calm Down” podcast together, both had Prescott’s back when asked about his recent negative public image.

“I’ve been covering (him) since he took over that job his rookie season, I’ve seen him go through hell and back,” Andrews said. “He’s a guy I get very defensive about because he’s so lovely.

“Dak is the kind of guy [where you] know everything he stands for off the field. … I did a charity event with St. Jude and there was an anonymous donation on Instagram, but you can see who did it.”

Thomson added: “He is a fantastic person on and off the field, he’s a class act. He has been through hell and back in his personal life. He’s lost his brother, he’s lost his mom. He is a constant champion of people in the mental health space in everything from cancer prevention to early detection. To answer your question… I have no idea [why people hate him].”

While Prescott’s personal life has nothing to do with how he performs on the field, several reports indicated that some of his teammates weren’t happy hearing about the accusations of infidelity.

Page Six reported that the Mississippi State alum was using “incognito social media profiles” to inappropriately message multiple women outside of his relationship.

Andrews pointed out that Prescott’s indiscretions seem to have been magnified simply because of plays for the Cowboys — a team that many fans just love to blindly hate on.

“It’s not warranted, the hate is not warranted, but yes, Erin brings up a great point: he plays for a team that people love to hate,” Thompson continued. “It’s always going to come with criticism, but I think Dak also understands that.

“It’s just that the people that are going to hate him don’t have any real reason to. They’re just trying to be contrarians. I’m just always going to defend Dak, because I think he’s a wonderful person and he is. That locker room will tell you he’s a wonderful teammate.”
