The Buffalo Bills have made multiple moves since the departure of Stefon Diggs, aimed at giving quarterback Josh Allen a reliable, high-level weapons in the passing game.
As recently as this past offseason, where Buffalo traded a second round pick for Chicago Bears wideout D.J. Moore, the problem is still one that the franchise are looking to solve.
One of those recent swings was wide receiver Elijah Moore, who signed with the Bills in April 2025 on a one-year deal worth up to $5 million. And just under a year later Moore has found a new destination and will be joining the Philadelphia Eagles, per Ian Rapoport.

Eagles Signing Elijah Moore After Disappointing Bills Stint
“TheEagles aren’t done adding, signing WR Elijah Moore to a 1-year deal, source said.” Rapoport reported on Tuesday. “Still just 25 years old, Moore lands on his fourth team and is just a season removed from 100 targets with theBrowns.”
Despite coming into the 2025 season with four fairly productive seasons under his belt as a speedy vertical threat, even if he never quite lived up to his original billing as the 34th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Moore produced almost nothing during his time in New York State.
The former New York Jet played in 9 games, starting 2, during his short-lived period with the Bills, managing a total of just 9 receptions and 112 yards before being waved in late November after the team signed veteran Brandin Cooks, who proved to be a far more valuable asset for the franchise.
