Arsenal defender Ben White could be sold in the summer as he has lost his starting right-back spot.

Ben White started in the final against City, and struggled to defend the likes of Rayan Cherki and Jeremy Doku. However, White has earned his first England call up in several years, as Thomas Tuchel picked him to join up with the squad ahead of two international friendlies,
White has been linked with a move away in the summer transfer window, with several Premier League clubs interested in signing the defender, including Everton.
Arsenal look to replace White with Franca
With reports suggesting that White could leave in the summer, there are more suggestions that the Gunners could replace him with Roma right-back Wesley Franca, who has impressed in Serie A this season.
According to TeamTalk, Arsenal are monitoring Franca, and have been interested in him since last year’s Club World Cup when he impressed for Brazilian side Flamengo. He joined Roma for a fee of £22m, which looks like money well spent.
Franca has made 35 appearances since joining Roma in the summer, scoring four goals, and providing two assists. It is understood that he is seriously in demand heading into the summer, with Tottenham and Man City also understood to be interested in the 22-year-old.
Arsenal are also understood to be interested in Newcastle United defender Tino Livramento to replace White, but seeing as they’d be signing him from a rival, it is understood that he could be a lot more expensive than someone like Franca, who is less proven than Livramento.
