Puka Nacua is being accused of biting a woman and making antisemitic comments during an LA New Year's Eve celebration

Puka Nacua’s legal team came out swinging with full force and confidence after the Los Angeles Rams star was hit with allegations of making an antisemitic comment and biting two women.

An unamed Los Angeles-based woman alleged a series of problematic incidents tied to a New Year’s Eve outing. Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, immediately redirected the case in a completely different light from the original allegations, calling it a "shakedown."

McCathern is a high-profile Texas trial lawyer known for his NFL reputation, having represented a group of Dallas Cowboys stars and team owner Jerry Jones. He pushed back hard against the claims, stating that the accusations are part of an attempt to extract money. The NFL star also apparently moved on from his crush on actress Sydney Sweeney after being spotted with a new influencer.

According to McCathern's response given to TMZ, the accuser has sought "millions" for the incident as his legal team is rejecting the allegations outright. The claims themselves remain allegations until proven in court and were detailed in a request for a temporary restraining order filed in Los Angeles.

In that filing obtained by TMZ, the woman alleges that during a group outing in Century City on Dec. 31, 2025, Nacua made an antisemitic remark during dinner, claiming he said: "f--- all the Jews."

The woman described that erratic conduct as the beginning of even worse behavior at night. She further alleged that after the group entered a Sprinter van, the situation turned physical.

According to allegations in the filing, Nacua became “touchy-feely” before biting another woman’s thumb “so forcefully that she screamed,” and then biting her shoulder hard enough to break skin and leave a visible imprint. A photo of the alleged injury was reportedly included in the filing.

It also claims that members of Nacua’s team threatened to contact media outlets with their version of the story to undermine any chance of her coming forward to tell it. Nacua’s side continues to firmly deny all wrongdoing.

His attorney called the incident exaggerated at best and described any physical interaction as mutual “horseplay.” A request for a restraining order tied to the situation was also reportedly denied.

The Rams star is entering the last year of his rookie contract, with projections suggesting he could reshape the wide receiver market once again after Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl winner Jaxon Smith-Njigba's $168.6 million contract extension signed on Monday.

The allegations come after off-field developments that saw Nacua face intense public criticism following a livestream appearance with controversial internet personalities in which Nacua promised to perform an antisemitic touchdown celebration. Rams head coach Sean McVay previously emphasized the importance of Nacua's focus on his growth and maturity moving forward.
