Arsenal forward Eberechi Eze has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a calf injury, which is a major blow for the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta’s side come off their 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Man City, in which Eze wasn’t able to feature due to a calf injury that he suffered during the week in the Champions League.

The international break came at the right time for Eze, so he can get some rest before Arsenal face an FA Cup quarter-final against Southampton and a Champions League quarter-final against Sporting CP.
However, according to BBC Journalist Sami Mokbel, Eze could be ruled out for between four and six weeks with his injury, meaning he could miss some crucial games during the run-in. Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news on X…

That will be bad news, except of cos Odegaard comes back and help fills the void cos as we have seen, Kai is not good in that role

What games could Eze miss for Arsenal?
If the worst is to happen and Eze is to miss six weeks, there are several crucial games that he could miss, which would be a blow to Mikel Arteta.
Firstly, the two quarter-finals as mentioned, but then it would also include Premier League matches against Bournemouth, Man City, Newcastle and Fulham. He would likely be in doubt for the away trip to West Ham on May 9.
