Tape Breakdown

Temi Ajirotutu became a decorated and versatile lineman for FCS Villanova, settling in at left guard for the 2025 season. He possesses NFL size and good play strength, swallowing up linemen and especially linebackers at the second level.

His best reps came as a puller, showing snap out of his stance (though he often sat/leaned back as a “tell” he was going to pull), to erase the EMOL on kickout blocks.

In pass protection, he shows strength to anchor against bull rushes. He’s more prone to getting beat on his edges.

He’s on the ground too often in the run game, especially on zone schemes, and his footwork in pass protection needs work. Perhaps that’s how he was taught but he retreats and gives up too much ground.

Against quality competition in the FCS playoffs, Ajirotutu wasn’t as dominant as you’d like for an FCS player to show he can compete at the next level.

Conclusion

Ajirotutu is a true sleeper with the size, strength, and athletic profile to give him an NFL chance. There wasn’t one serious flaw on tape that said this guy shouldn’t be in a camp somewhere. But it felt like he got by a bit on his physical traits, and I didn’t see the technical prowess needed to win consistently against football’s best.

His calling card is having 800-plus snaps at three different positions. Most prospects can’t say that. It likely makes Ajirotutu a low-end UDFA signing instead of a tryout bid. My NFL comp is Lecitus Smith.
