Arsenal are one of the Premier League clubs who admire Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, according to the Sky Sports.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is monitoring the England international as he looks to keep strengthening his squad at the Emirates Stadium club.
However, Arsenal are not the only ones keen on the £100 million-rated Anderson, with Manchester City and Manchester United also interested in recruiting the services of the 23-year-old.
Winning the Premier League title will boost the Gunners’ chances of attracting more quality players in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are currently nine points clear at the top of the table ahead of the final seven league fixtures of 2025-26 and could convince the Forest star to join them ahead of other suitors.
While Anderson is primarily a No 8 midfielder he can also play as a No 6 or in a more advanced role.
A move to a club competing for major trophies would appeal to him as he looks to help keep his club in the Premier League at the end of the season.
While he still has three years remaining on his current Forest contract, the Arsenal target is expected to leave in the summer given his quality and overall performances this term.
However, Anderson would prefer moving to where he is guaranteed regular playing chances having started all of his club’s 31 league games this season.
The Gunners cannot guarantee that given the plethora of options available to Arteta in the middle of the park.
They have also been linked with interest in Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali and more names could emerge in the coming weeks and in the summer.
Arsenal are expected to make major sales when the transfer window reopens, but it remains to be seen whether they would be willing to spend big on midfielders given their need to strengthen in other positions.
