The Philadelphia Eagles finished with an 11-6 record last season and went one-and-done in the playoffs. There seemed to be a lot of issues with the offense. There was a lot of disconnect between quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown. Despite him being one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL, Brown could get very moody at times.

During the 2025 NFL season with Philadelphia, he caught 78 passes for 1,003 yards receiving and seven touchdowns, along with averaging 12.9 yards per reception. Brown was also targeted 121 times. He is 28 years old and has a few years remaining on his contract. There is no doubt that some teams are potentially interested in trading for him, but the asking price from general manager Howie Roseman is very high.
PFF Believes That the Philadelphia Eagles Could Potentially Trade WR A.J. Brown This Offseason

Profootballfocus.com writer John Kosko wrote about potential trade chip for each NFL team leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft. He thinks that Philadelphia could potentially trade Brown this offseason. Kosko said,
“The ongoing tension between A.J. Brown and the Eagles makes him a clear trade candidate. Still just 28 years old, Brown remains a highly productive receiver, earning an 83.4 PFF receiving grade in what was considered a down season.
Whether due to injuries or early signs of decline, Brown did not reach 20 mph in PFF in-game tracking for the first time in his career. Given the surrounding circumstances, the Eagles may look to move him while his value remains high, as he would still command a significant return in a trade.”
Brown is not declining. Hurts might be declining. With that being said, the Eagles just signed wide receiver Elijah Moore. Moore and Brown were college teammates when they played for the Ole Miss Rebels. This signing probably means that Philadelphia is not going to trade him in the end.
