There is no doubt that he has been linked to the Tennessee Titans or the New York Giants in the 2026 NFL Draft. Love is 6’0″ and weighs 214 lbs. During the 2025 college football season with the Fighting Irish, he rushed for 1,372 yards on 199 carries and 18 touchdowns, along with averaging 6.9 yards per reception. Love also caught 27 passes for 280 yards receiving and three touchdowns, along with averaging 10.4 yards per reception. He also spoke with reporters during Notre Dame’s Pro Day on Tuesday as well.

Love spoke with reporters on Tuesday. He shared his pitch to NFL teams that are potentially trying to draft him next month. The Fighting Irish running back said, “You draft me, I’m not doing too much… After a game I’m going home, playing video games…and watch anime. I’m a simple guy… I’m not going to cause you no type of trouble.” This sounds about right with his character. There is no doubt that he is going to be a star from day one at the next level.

If he does wind up with Tennessee fourth overall, Love will be another star in the making for them. The Titans have had Chris Johnson and Derrick Henry in the past at the position. This would be another home run for them. If he does slip past number five, there is a very good chance that the Washington Commanders could draft him seventh overall. Washington has not had a good running back since Alfred Morris. The Commanders are also due to have a star in the backfield to pair with quarterback Jayden Daniels as well.
