Arsenal keen on midfield trio – latest transfer news

Elliot Anderson, Sandro Tonali and Adam Wharton are reportedly among the midfielders Arsenal are weighing up moves for this summer.

Sky Sports say the midfield trio are all of interest to Arsenal, though could also face competition from Manchester City and Manchester United, who are also keen.

The report says all three clubs, as well as Chelsea, are expected to strengthen in midfield during the summer transfer window.

Tonali is reported to be of particular interest to Arsenal, but would command a huge fee and would require the club to make sales before moving for the Italian.

Meanwhile, United and City are said to also hold an interest in Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, while United are keen on Wolves’ Joao Gomes too.

Man Utd are looking to strengthen in other areas this summer too, Sky Sports also report, with Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall, RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye and Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown also among their potential targets.

Elsewhere, Mo Salah’s agent has said it has not been decided where the Egyptian forward will go next after he announced he would be leaving Liverpool after this season.

The Saudi Pro League has long been touted as a possible destination for the 33-year-old, with Al Ittihad, Al Nassr, Al Hilal and Al Ahli likely to be interested.

But TalkSport say Salah also has interest from MLS clubs.
