Everton have mocked Chelsea attacker Alejandro Garnacho following the Toffees' impressive 3-0 win against the Blues on Saturday, March 21. Beto scored a brace for David Moyes' side while Iliman Ndiaye scored in the 76th minute.
Everton have trolled Garnacho with a post on social media platform TikTok after his underwhelming display. As per Football.London, they posted a clip of the Argentine being manhandled by Everton players and going to ground despite minimal contact. The caption read:
"Not everything is nice at Hill Dickinson Stadium..."
Garnacho started the game on the bench and was introduced by Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior at half-time. He replaced defender Malo Gusto but failed to make an impression during his time on the pitch.
The Argentine winger joined the Blues in the summer in a reported £40 million deal from rivals Manchester United. However, he has struggled to impress the Stamford Bridge faithful so far.
The 21-year-old has failed to register his place in the starting XI and has only started 21 games across competitions. He has come on from the bench on a number of 15 occasions.
The Argentina international has scored seven goals and provided four assists during his time at Chelsea so far. However, he has only managed to score once in the Premier League and once in the Champions League.
Chelsea make decision on manager Liam Rosenior's future: Reports
Chelsea have reportedly decided against sacking Liam Rosenior even if he fails to secure Champions League qualification. As claimed by GIVEMESPORT, Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital want to give the 41-year-old a full season to judge him.
The Blues brought in Rosenior as their new manager on January 6 after parting ways with Enzo Maresca. They were reportedly impressed with his spell at the Blues' sister club FC Strasbourg and handed him a deal until 2032.
While he had a decent start to life at the West London club, things have not gone Rosenior's way of late. Chelsea have lost their last four games across competitions and the manager has quite understandably come under scrutiny.
The Blues have won 10 games out of 19 under Rosenior while losing seven and drawing two (52.6 win percentage). They are sixth in the Premier League table with 48 points in 31 games and trail fifth-placed Liverpool by one point.
