This earned him the 2025 Doak Walker Award as the nation’s top running back, and came third in the Heisman Trophy voting. He has been impressive throughout his college career, and is one of the best prospects this year.

Love has also impressed at the NFL Combine, where he has shown his explosive acceleration and skillful moves. He clocked the 40-yard dash in 4.36-seconds. It is expected that he will be a top-10 overall pick, and potentially even as a top-5 pick. Many teams will be looking to get him in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Recently, he gave an interview where he was asked by Notre Dame sports reporter Talia Baia what NFL teams can expect from him off the field. He said, “My perfect day after a game is going home, playing video games…and watch anime. I’m a simple guy… I’m not going to cause you no type of trouble.”
