Shaquille O'Neal has been forced to address rumours he sent Sabrina Carpenter bizarre "horny" messages. Dubious screenshots alleged the NBA legend told the Espresso singer, 26, he wanted to "keep her farts in a cologne bottle".

Speaking on his podcast, the 54-year-old was forced to deny the texts were real after they went viral on social media. Shaq read one of the alleged messages: "Damn, baby. I would keep your farts in a cologne bottle and spray it on me every day. Just jokes, I'm Shaq baby, what's your name?"

Carpenter was then allegedly replied: "I know who you are, you're way too famous to be sending me messages like that."

O'Neal read the rest of the messages, which read: "I can't be horny and want some of that Snow Bunny kitty for myself??? You being rude for no reason.

"You can't handle big diesel anyways... my meat would have you in the hospital." The last message read: "Can we find out?"

O'Neal debunked the messages and even joked about the situation. "First of all, the Diesel has way more game than that," O'Neal said.

Last year, Shaq addressed online speculation linking him romantically to adult content creator Sophie Rain. The giant basketball star was spotted making an appearance at her 21st birthday party.

And photos of the two quickly surfaced on social media, sparking whispers that the two were dating. However, O’Neal firmly shut down those rumours as he responded with a pointed Instagram comment, slamming: “I don’t date that young but I will date your mom and give u a brother.”

The comment quickly went viral, with fans interpreting it as a lighthearted way for O’Neal to dismiss the rumours. The exchange followed backlash after Sophie posted a birthday photo to her seven million Instagram followers with O’Neal.

While some fans praised the crossover, others expressed discomfort over the basketball icon’s presence at the party.

Critical comments included, “Shaq looks like someone’s PawPaw trying to be cool at the grandkid’s basement party” and “Gross but not entirely unsurprising coming from Shaq.”
