Puka Nacua vows to respond with lawsuit

NFL fans were shocked when star Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was accused of biting a woman and yelling out antisemitic comments.

Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, said that the biting incident was the result of some horseplay while the group was partying.

McCathern says the group was partying, and there was some horseplay … resulting in the bite, which left nothing more than a temporary mark.

“This is not in any way a ‘horseplay’ event and Mr. Nacua and crisis management team will not deny there was an attack involving Mr. Nacua’s lips, mouth, and teeth gnashing down on Ms. Atiabi’s shoulder in a violent and provocative manner, and then passing out cold,” Joseph Kar, who is representing the alleged victim, said.

“Nor is there any truth to Mr. McCathern’s assertion that this is a ‘shakedown’ since it was his office and staff that invited us to the mediation, agreed to pay for half, and flew from Texas to attend on March 11, 2026.”

Now, Nacua is vowing to respond litigiously.

“Puka denies these allegations in the strongest possible terms,” McCathern told TMZ after the woman filed for a temporary restraining order.

“We will be filing a defamation lawsuit and pursuing all available legal remedies in response to these false and damaging statements.”

A Los Angeles judge has denied the accusers’ request for the TRO, and a hearing is slated for April 14.
