Los Angeles Rams’ star wide receiver is facing a massive lawsuit after admitting to some rather disturbing details. The 24-year-old wide receiver has shown that he has the ability to be one of the best in the league at his position. However, his personal life seems to continuously get in the way.
This time it is over a woman accusing him of more than just biting.

Rams’ Star Wide Receiver Puka Nacua Under Investigation
According to the woman, Puka Nacua made an antisemitic comment and bit her later, leading her to sue him for assault and battery. She argues that he acted recklessly, causing her to suffer:
The attorney forMadison Atiabi, the alleged victim, filed the lawsuit Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, citing gender violence, assault and battery, and negligence.
Atiabi claims she’s “suffered actual damages, including physical injury, pain and suffering, medical expenses, and severe emotional distress” after the December 31, 2025,**incident in L.A.**She doesn’t go into detail about the nature of her injuries.
Of course, Nacua has already called BS on her account, describing the situation as “blackmail,” insisting Atiabi’s claim is part exaggeration, part fiction … and simply a way to extract money.
Puka’s attorneyLevi McCathern doesn’t deny he playfully bit the woman, but says she wasn’t hurt, pointing to the group partying at a club after the bite.
Nacua has adamantly denied uttering the antisemitic comment, insisting Puka never said “f*** the Jews” … which the woman claims he said during dinner, out of nowhere.
While Atiabi’s lawsuit was the first filed, it may not be the last one. Nacua’s lawyer tells us they’re going tofile a defamation claim over the bogus accusation.
Both Lawyers’ Responses To The Allegations
Nacua’s attorney has made it crystal clear that the allegations are either blown out of proportion or not true entirely. He adamantly denies that any racial slur was ever used, and that the bite was playful in nature. Her attempt at a “money grab” is completely unfounded, per Nacua’s lawyer. In response, Atiabi’s attorney had this to say:
“This is not in any way a ‘horseplay’ event and Mr. Nacua and crisis management team will not deny there was an attack involving Mr. Nacua’s lips, mouth, and teeth gnashing down on Ms. Atiabi’s shoulder in a violent and provocative manner, and then passing out cold,” Kar told TMZ Sports.
“Nor is there any truth to Mr. McCathern’s assertion that this is a ‘shakedown’ since it was his office and staff that invited us to the mediation, agreed to pay for half, and flew from Texas to attend on March 11, 2026.”
Kar is hoping the civil and criminal matters move forward without any more “interference” from Nacua’s team to prevent “further victim blaming and shaming.”
As for Atiabi’s lawsuit … it’s unclear how much money she is seeking.
This is yet another unfortunate situation that Nacua finds himself in off the field. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Stay tuned for further details on this case!
