Arsenal will get the opportunity to bring in some new faces when the summer transfer window

Arsenal have made an ‘offer’ for PSG midfielder Senny Mayulu ahead of the summer, according to MediaFoot. The Gunners could try and sign the player in the next transfer window. He has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City recently, as per CaughtOffside.

Mikel Arteta’s side are top of the Premier League table as they chase down the title. They lost 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City last time out. Next up is a FA Cup tie against Southampton after the international break.

Arsenal lodge offer for Senny Mayulu

Arsenal could see Mayulu as someone to bolster their respective midfield departments. If he joined the London club, he would give them more competition and depth in the middle of the park. At the age of 19, he has bags of potential and has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

Mayulu, who is a France youth international, joined PSG back in 2020 and is now one of their most prized assets. They could face a battle to keep hold of him down the line though amid attention from elsewhere. Prior to his move, he had spells at local sides Saint-Denis US and AF Épinay-sur-Seine.

The teenager has since become a key player for his current team. He made his first-team debut back in January 2024 and hasn’t looked back since. He has made 76 appearances in all competitions to date, 32 of which have come this season, and he has chipped in with 11 goals.

Speaking after Arsenal’s defeat to City, Arteta said: “Well, very sad, very hard one to take, especially for our players and our supporters because we know how much it means to them and how much we want it and the fact that we haven't managed to deliver that obviously is disappointing and sad and it leaves you a really bad taste.”

He added: “For sure and there will be a lot of aspects that we will discuss. There will be a lot of aspects that we need to discuss, I think we have to reflect on that, bring the temperature down a little bit and we will discuss that.”
