The Philadelphia 76ers revealed ahead of their Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls that Joel Embiid (oblique) is available.
He is also set to start for the Sixers. As such, he is expected to draw strict minute restrictions from Nick Nurse.
This marks the first game of the former league MVP since Feb. 26 upon suffering from a right oblique strain. He missed Philly's last 13 games.
Embiid's return is undeniably pivotal for the Sixers' playoff hunt. He and Paul George are about to suit up this Wednesday against Chicago after long layoffs.
Appearing in 33 games this season, Embiid is averaging 26.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
